I'm thinking about getting an SI soon. I'm not much into import cars and I like my V8's but an SI would be a lot better on gas. Well I don't want the damn think to be all slow and crap, so I was thinking about a turbo and intercooler kit. Would an SI be able to handle one without causing the engine light to come on or anything. I know that if you want to put a turbo and a car, the best thing to do is to buy ir for a 1994 or below because of the less emissions. My uncle is a mechanic and he told me he has put a turbo kit on a civic before and the engine light came on because of it. the guy asked him how to take the engine light off and my uncle told him, you gotta take the turbo kit off for that.
